As the warmer weather begins to return, we look to the outdoors with music celebrating the sunshine, seasons, and stars. This program includes wonderful contemporary Canadian works by Sarah Quartel, Stephen Chatman, Imant Raminsh, and Jeff Enns, alongside the evocative Six Chansons by Hindemith, Lili Boulanger’s sparkling Hymne au soleil, and the jovial and cheeky Renaissance madrigal As Vesta Was by Thomal Weelkes.
